Inktober

Inktober, created by Jake Parker, has become a popular drawing prompt on Instagram over the past few years. The idea is simple; follow the drawing prompt for each day of October and only use ink. Voila! Here are some of mine from the past few years.

All of these, save for one, were drawn in my trusty Moleskine sketchbook. I use a variety of pens including, Micron, Farber-Castell, and Prismacolor. The “Samurai Jack” drawing was done on a black acid-free sketchbook using white Gelly Roll and Silver Graphik pens. I’ve had a growing interest in using more brush pens. We’ll see how it goes!
